What Does It Take To Be An ICT Student?

What does it take to be an ICT Student?
What does it take to be an ICT student? A tough question huh? Being a 4th Year Student of the ICT is very very hard! And You will do things you don’t expect that you can do and you can make things you don’t really make in your daily life :D
In our ICT class, I have done so many things that made our high school life so interesting. Here are some stuff that I did within my ICT class S.Y. 2011-2012:
1st grading: Won the Nutri-Jingle contest. Learned about the Internet and so much more.
2nd grading: Learned how to use the different kinds of TAGS which can be used to create a web page.
3rd grading: to promote the Heritage City of Vigan through making a Web Page. Actually we stayed over in a house of our group mate just to finish our web page. And we did it.
4th grading: Learned all about the things to know with Adobe Photoshop. We were given a task to do something with this Photoshop and I did it! J

These are the things that made my high school life so memorable. We will never forget that we were once a 4th year ICT student of Ilocos Sur National High School.. J
For the Next ICT Students of Mrs. Vera Cruz, GOOD LUCK!!! J

My Dream, My Future.

My Dream, My Future
We all have dreams in life. To be an artist, a doctor, a nurse, an engineer or other professions that is very much popular in the ears of people, but for me? I want to be a Teacher. J
I want to be a teacher because I can see how challenging it is to be one of them. I can see how they work every day as if they are still studying and I can see how they can inspire so many people in one day… I am one of those people they have inspired. I really do admire them. With their every day work, their lovely advises and their warm welcomes, there is nothing for them not to be inspired of.
I love it when in the future; I would be just like them. I can touch the life of so many people and I will be surrounded of very young and fresh faces. I can share them my knowledge and what I know. I can give them pieces of advise when they need me and I would help them when they are in need of something.
It would be so awesome when this dream can be turned into reality. I will just do my best to reach this dream and I will do everything just to make this dream come true.

Change, It Starts With Me

Change: It Starts With Me.
Change is all around us. It happens in just a blink of an eye. In your pocket, in your bathroom, in your bedroom or even in your classroom, CHANGE still EXISTS. I mean, isn’t it obvious? It’s everywhere. Not only things can change but even our emotions and what we are capable of doing. Even our minds change every second. But I see a thing that hasn’t been changed for a quite long time now, and it’s our ECONOMY and our Country’s STANDING.
As a very young member of our republic, I can see our current standing and it is not very satisfying. We are still in need of a lot of things to be very competitive worldwide. Not only by means of production but by means of Economy and even our Education.
If I’m not satisfied and if I think that something is wrong, I am willing to change it for the betterment of our country. In every simple things that we can do, we are helping our country in its goal to be just like other countries in the world who are very much successful and very well-known.
I can change my attitude and be more country centered. I want to change myself so that I can be a role model and a leader to my fellow youth. If I can do this kind of thing, maybe we can all do it. If we work hand in hand to resolve what I think is the downfall of this country, we can do it.
I am the start of CHANGE… and so are YOU…

REFLECTION 3rd GRADING

REFLECTION(3rd Grading period)

On our Third Grading Period, we experienced and learned a lot of things related to WEB DESIGNING.
Its my first time to create a Web Page with the use of the NOTEPAD. Its actually quite hard because you have to put a lot of tags in your notepad. For every detail of your web, there is a corresponding tag that will be used on it.
We had a project, its to create a Web Page and our topic was about THE FAMOUS PEOPLE and LOCAL HEROES of VIGAN CITY. We had a lot of things to do before we have to finish it. First was to make an outline of it through a scrapbook. We interviewed people so that we can gather a lot of information that we can put into our project. We stayed over on the house of our group mate just to gather much information for our topic.
In the actual making of the Web Design, we were hardened up because we had a lot of trouble with the tags we are putting. Again, we slept over the house of  the one of our group mate to finish it. After that night, Ta-dah!! We are done with our Web Design. Its not that beautiful and organized but at least, we did it. J
We are ending up again 3rd grading… next up… 4th, the last chapter of our High School Life. J

ESSENCE OF CHRISTMAS

THE ESSENCE OF CHRISTMAS

Christmas is not all about presents, toys, jewelries, dresses, money and others. It’s all about giving, sharing, and loving the people around us especially the needy. Loving our fellowmen is the TRUE ESSENCE OF CHRISTMAS.
If we are only receiving on this kind of Holiday, we are only showing that we are selfish. We are showing that we are in need of earthly things. We are only showing that we don’t care for others. We are only showing that we don’t appreciate and care for the creations of GOD.
Always bear in mind that Christmas is not only for receiving, rather it is for giving and sharing what we think is needed by the people around us. Sharing or giving is much better than receiving for giving is one kind of being responsible on how you take care of the creations of GOD. Through sharing and giving, we are giving them a part of us, a part of what  we have and a part of who we are.
Christmas is not only for one day. Everyday is Christmas. So don’t forget to share a part of yourself on the needy.

KEEPING IN MIND OUR MOTHER TOUNGE

KEEPING IN MIND OUR MOTHER TOUNGE

A person can learn a language in his/her choice, but I think it is more vital to learn more about your native words first before the other Dialects.
There are so many languages in the world. English, French, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Chinese, etc. but for me, the best language ever existing is our local language which is “ILOCO”. Even thou you know other dialects, when you are at your hometown, you must know your local language. You’re knowledge about this other dialects is worthless if you don’t even know your MOTHER TONGUE.
The “ILOCO” is a very rich dialect. It has its festivities which makes it exist even in this time. This dialect is so old, and that’s why it’s a very significant part on the culture of the ILOCANOS. Daniw, Dallot, Dung-aw and others are the festivities that this dialect promotes. The local government advertises this festivities to the nation so that the ILOCO will be well known nationwide.
If we Ilocanos will use our own dialect, this only show that we are proud of where we come from, what are we and who we are.
KEEP IN MIND YOUR MOTHER TOUNGE!!
